The BlackVue Power Magic device is a product that protects the car battery from discharge when your dash cam continues to run while the car is off.
Features
Battery Discharge Prevention
Pre-set cut-off voltages such as 12V or 12.5V can be selected to prevent your car’s battery from falling below these levels.
12V or 24V Compatible Hard Wiring
This makes it very convenient for all users as some clients will not be certain if their vehicle is running 12Volts or not, eg. truck drivers.
Timer/Voltage Cut-Off Settings
Parking Mode
Explore the benefits of using Parking Mode in your car with your BlackVue dash cam. Parking Mode is enabled by hard-wiring your dash cam into your car, giving it power once your car is switched off. When Parking Mode is on, the cameras will provide enhanced security by recording anything that happens when you’re not there.
Increased Vehicle Security
Record Hit & Run Incidents
Catch & Record Suspicious Activity
Parking Mode
Parking Mode Switch ON: Power Magic Pro supplies your BlackVue with power even if the ignition of the vehicle is turned off, until it reaches voltage cut-off or timeout value.
Parking Mode Switch OFF: Power Magic Pro supplies power to your dashcam only when vehicle ignition is on. This setting will put not strain on the vehicle's battery.
Professional Installation
Professional installation is recommended for installing the BlackVue Power Magic Pro into your vehicle. In order for the PMP to function correctly, it must be hard-wired into an ignition (+) circuit, a battery (b+) circuit and a ground (-) circuit.
